Hey everyone,
Just dropped a new video called “Minding My Business.” 🌟✝️ In Isaiah 1:17, we’re reminded to seek justice and correct oppression. This weekend, I drove to Nashville and Brentwood, TN—where many music producers, celebrities, and heads of big religious organizations reside. My former ministry was hosting a summer conference, and I wanted to see how they’ve been doing since I left.
Back when I was part of this ministry, conferences were often underwhelming, with few attendees despite significant expenses. Fast forward to now, 27 years in, and they still had only a couple dozen people show up. It made me wonder about the effectiveness and integrity of their operations. Despite their corporate support and resources, their fruit seems bitter, not reflective of Jesus’ teachings.
I left the ministry because I couldn’t reconcile their actions with scripture. Now, I’m back on Jesus stuff, striving to be a better person and serve God appropriately. But seeing the same old patterns in the ministry stirred something in me. They claim to be doing everything for Jesus, but their actions often say otherwise. So, I feel it’s my responsibility to speak out and hold them accountable.
If rich folks want to gather and enjoy themselves, fine. But when they invoke Jesus’ name, it becomes my business too. Like John the Baptist, I’m asking: if you truly follow God, prove it.
