The Catholics and most of the Orthodox branches do practice a kind of confession, but they have this weird “call me Daddy” thing going on, and no thanks.

In the Protestant churches, especially here in America, there is zero emphasis on confessing verbally. Evangelicals and Protestants in general seem to work really hard at hiding all their sin while putting a socially acceptable front, it kinda fucking sucks ya’ll.

What was that thing about whitewashed tombs again? (Ask your Pastor)
